Founder & Attorney
Anthony Brister
Anthony started the Brister Law Firm to help business owners and individuals navigate the complexities of tax law and asset protection. Anthony received his B.A. of Finance in Arkansas at Henderson State University. There he played football as a defensive and offensive lineman for four years. He then received his J.D. and Tax LLM at the University of Houston Law Center. Anthony is originally from East Texas. He is an Eagle Scout who loves hiking, camping, and really any outdoor activities. In his spare time, he also enjoys cooking and trying new foods. He has extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals and business owners. He specializes in tax preparation and planning, entity structuring, business risk management, and complex estate planning. Anthony loves working with business owners to create asset protection strategies and help them grow their business to create generational wealth.

CPA
Zachary Esch
Zachary received his B.S. in Accounting at The University of Texas Dallas followed shortly after with an MBA from The University of Texas Permian Basin, which he completed with a 4.0. Shortly after he completed testing to become a CPA. Zach grew up in the restaurant industry, starting at the age of 14 at a family restaurant. From there he moved into construction, securing a Job-Cost accountant role while in college for an agricultural framing company and later moving into Healthcare. The many hats he has worn has made him an expert in all aspects of business from Finance to Operations and even HR. Zach loves working with business owners to find efficiencies, clean up their books, and provide consulting on matters ranging from operation success to government audits. While not at work he is an avid fisherman and hunter.

Danielle Rosero
Danielle received her B.S. in Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin, and has had experience with content analysis and customer experience in the tech space, as well as social media management. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. In her spare time she loves reading, going for walks, and studying languages.

Savanna Johnson
Savanna Johnson serves as the Personal Assistant to Anthony Brister at The Brister Law Firm, PLLC, where she combines her passion for organization and client service with her expertise in legal and financial support. Dedicated to ensuring the firm’s operations run seamlessly, Savanna plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients. In her role, Savanna specializes in managing client relationships, coordinating schedules, and assisting with the firm’s wide-ranging services, including tax planning, entity formation, estate planning, and financial strategies. Her keen attention to detail and proactive approach help streamline processes, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for every client. Committed to her professional growth, Savanna is currently pursuing the Enrolled Agent (EA) course and plans to achieve her certification by the end of summer 2025. This milestone will further enhance her ability to support clients with tax expertise and strategic guidance. When she’s not busy assisting clients or managing the firm’s operations, Savanna cherishes time spent with her fiancé and her three nieces, who are her pride and joy. Whether at work or in her personal life, she brings warmth, dedication, and a personal touch to everything she does.

Linley Smith
Linley is a dedicated paralegal at The Brister Law Firm, PLLC with a strong background in legal support, providing comprehensive assistance in case preparation and client management. Growing up in East Texas instilled within her a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to serving others. In addition to her paralegal work, she also manages the firm's social media presence, ensuring clients are informed and engaged with timely and relevant content. Linley specializes in estate planning, helping clients navigate the complexities of wills, trusts, and asset distribution with precision and care. She is also a commissioned notary, providing added convenience and legal assurance to clients. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and two dachshunds, Ace and Ivy. She values the balance between work and personal life and finds joy in the moments spent with those who matter most.
